Reporting to The UK Director of Sales and the Hotel General Manger at the Barcelo Edinburgh Hotel, this is an exciting opportunity for somebody to take on the role of Director of Sales –Scotland. You will be based at the Barceló Ebinburgh Carlton Hotel, with a hands on direct selling role for The Carlton with the additional responsibility for a team of 2 within sales across 2 other hotels in Scotland, Barceló Troon Hotel & Barceló Stirling Highland Hotel.This is a challenging role, requiring you to maximise sales opportunities for The Group, with a bias towards Meetings and Events. The role will be influential at hotel level in supporting the development and execution of revenue generation strategies. This position will be expected to ensure that successful plans and actions are executed at each assigned hotel. You will also be expected to complete a thorough review and analysis of each hotels sales activity to ensure they are producing the predicted results and you will provide direction on changes and adjustments that must be made. You will need... 5 -10 year’s relevant sales experience within hospitality and currently holding a multi-unit role with including team leadership. Ability to spend time away from home.
